All downloaded transactions from online accounts are automatically assigned a 12:00 timestamp on the date they are posted. This makes reconciliation extremely cumbersome. I can understand using a generic time stamp when the online account does not provide actual time stamps, but many do provide the actual time stamp. Please include the true transaction time in the syncronization from online accounts that provide them.
I've discussed it for our team and it seems that even if banks do offer timestamps, our Online Banking providers might not be providing this information to us. We'd need to check.
